Tom Schauer joined Kennedy in June 2006 and is the firm’s Corporate Controller.

Mr. Schauer brings a breadth of industry experience and a broad skill set to the team. Mr. Schauer was previously with JP Morgan’s real estate investment group in New York City, where he held positions as a financial analyst, portfolio financial manager and a product specialist in its business development group. In addition, Mr. Schauer was an audit senior in Ernst & Young’s private equity and hedge fund group and a registered investment advisor to high-net worth individuals and company retirement plans.

Mr. Schauer graduated from the State University of New York, college at Oneonta, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is a Washington State licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Schauer is currently a candidate in the CFA program.
