Patrick W. O'Brien joined Kennedy in October 2005 as Vice President, Hotel Asset Management.
Mr. O'Brien came to Kennedy from FST Asset Management where he was a senior vice president
representing hotel ownership interests. Concurrently, he was Senior Vice President-Operations of
MTM Luxury Lodging, a company that operates boutique hotels in the Pacific Northwest.
At Kennedy, Mr. O'Brien leads a team of third party hotel asset management professionals overseeing
the operations of 10 hotels with 3,000 rooms in five states and the District of Columbia. He has
over 37 years of experience in the hospitality industry with leadership in operating units of Westin,
United Airlines, Le Meridien, and Starwood in the United States, Japan, Canada, United Kingdom, Brazil,
Mexico, Jamaica, Bahamas, French West Indies, and Bermuda.
Mr. O'Brien graduated from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University with a BA in Hotel Management.
He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Factory Card & Party Outlet (FCPO, NASDAQ)
and as a member of its audit committee.
