Michael McCormick joined Kennedy in 1995 and has over 22 years of real estate experience.
From 1986 to 1994, Mr. McCormick was a Vice President for asset management for Travelers
Realty Investment Company, a subsidiary of the Travelers Insurance Company. His responsibilities
in this position included the management and supervision of approximately 2,000 multifamily units,
4.3 million square feet of office space, retail and mixed use property and over one million square
feet of industrial space. He was responsible for operations in over 20 different markets, including
cities in the Midwest, Southwest and West regions of the United States.
Prior to these positions, Mr. McCormick owned a real estate development consulting company which
performed work on over 50 projects in the greater Seattle area. His responsibilities included representing
land owners and achieving master plan approvals, zoning and planned unit development approvals and project
financing. He was extensively involved with construction management and performed project evaluation and
financial analysis on a wide variety of property types and projects.
Mr. McCormick received a BA degree from Michigan State University.
