Joseph Shea joined Kennedy in 2002 and is a Senior Vice President with direct responsibility for a 5.0 million sf portfolio of office and industrial assets valued at $325 million. He brings 21 years of real estate experience in all major product types to the Kennedy team.

Most recently with LaSalle Investment Management in Sacramento, he was Vice President/Portfolio Manager for the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation commercial properties managed by LaSalle. Prior to this role, he served as LaSalle's Director of Dispositions where he had chief responsibility for the $1 billion a year program. Prior to his disposition role, Mr. Shea was a Vice President of asset management responsible for various office, retail and industrial portfolios averaging 2.5 million sf. He began his career in commercial real estate in 1984 with FIA Associates, which merged into Alex Brown Kleinwort Benson in 1990 and subsequently into LaSalle 1994.

Mr. Shea earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Finance from California State University, Chico, in 1984.
