Joseph Shea joined Kennedy in 2002 and is a Senior Vice President in the asset management department. He is responsible for a portfolio of office, industrial and multi-family assets. He has 26 years of real estate asset management, debt financing, acquisition, disposition, and development experience in all major product types throughout the United States.

Prior to joining Kennedy, Mr. Shea was with LaSalle Investment Management in Sacramento, California as Vice President/Portfolio Manager and also served as LaSalle’s Director of Dispositions where he had chief responsibility for the $1 billion a year program. He began his career in commercial real estate in 1984 with FIA Associates, which merged into Alex Brown Kleinwort Benson in 1990 and subsequently into LaSalle in 1994. LaSalle then merged with JLW and the Galbreath Companies.

Mr. Shea earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Finance from California State University, Chico, in 1984. He is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional.
