Jim Crew joined Kennedy in 2002 as an asset manager in the Washington, D.C. office. Mr. Crew
has 27 years of commercial real estate experience.
His was previously a Senior Vice President/Managing Director within the Corporate Advisory Group
for CB Richard Ellis in Washington, D.C., where he represented clients with an extensive inventory
of properties across multiple property types throughout the United States. They included Westinghouse,
Viacom, CBS, Infinity Broadcasting, Siemens, Comcast SportsNet, and Westat. Over the last seven years in
multi-market account business, Mr. Crew directed the acquisition (including build-to-suits) and
disposition of more than two million square feet of space and had consultative responsibility for an
additional six million square feet.
Prior to his corporate advisory work, Mr. Crew served as the Senior Vice President/Managing Officer of
the Washington D.C. office of CB Richard Ellis, overseeing the brokerage division of 35 sales and
administrative professionals from 1988-1994. Additionally, he opened and managed the Fort Worth, Texas
office from 1984-1987 and preceded that assignment with work in both the company's Newport Beach, CA, and
Portland, OR, offices. During his long tenure at CB Richard Ellis, Mr. Crew earned both sales and management
recognition, including the Congressional Circle designation for his work in corporate services.
Mr. Crew received his BA from the University of California at Los Angeles and has been involved in a number
of professional organizations in his real estate career.
