James Sullivan joined Kennedy in 1999. He is an Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Management. While Mr. Sullivan's primary focus is client related,
he brings significant financial modeling skills to bear for the benefit of the firm and its clients.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Sullivan spent nearly ten years in the acquisitions group as a Senior Financial Analyst. During his tenure in
acquisitions, he evaluated numerous investments with the primary responsibilities of financial modeling, deal structuring, investment proposals, and
development of underwriting software.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Sullivan was a Vice President at Pension Consulting Alliance, Inc. (“PCA”). While at PCA, Mr. Sullivan
oversaw all aspects of performance reporting for the firm's real estate clients. Mr. Sullivan also participated in numerous client projects
including developing strategic business plans, asset allocation studies, real estate portfolio modeling, performance attribution studies, and market
research.
Mr. Sullivan received his MBA degree from the University of Oregon and holds a BA degree in finance from Washington State University.
Mr. Sullivan earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1998 and is a current member of the CFA Institute.
