Dan Lowen joined Kennedy in October 2004 and is a Vice President in the
acquisitions group. His responsibilities primarily include sourcing new
investment and development opportunities in the Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountain regions.
Prior to joining Kennedy, he worked as a Vice President in the acquisition group of Urdang
Capital Management, a private real estate investment advisor. At Urdang, Mr. Lowen identified,
evaluated and negotiated direct and joint venture real estate investment opportunities that met
the company’s value-added investment parameters. He performed due diligence and closed on new
acquisitions in addition to overseeing a team of subordinate analysts. During his tenure at Urdang,
he was responsible for, or participated in, the acquisition of nearly $800 million of office and
retail properties.
Mr. Lowen holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from The Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania with concentrations in Real Estate and Management. He is a member of The National Association
of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
