Bennett Williams has 27 years real estate experience. Mr. Williams was formerly with Kennedy from 1987 to 1991 as Vice President and Principal. His responsibilities included research; identification of properties for acquisition; financial and risk analysis; and negotiation and coordination with legal counsel in the acquisition closing of commercial real estate transactions. These properties ranged in value from $3-90 million. From 1978 through 1985, Mr. Williams was president of Swain-Williams, Inc., a firm he founded to provide real estate brokerage, investment, development and property management services to the Anchorage market.

In 1991 Mr. Williams formed Lornty Investment Company (Trustee) and three Trusts, "Lornty Mortgage Income Fund," "Lornty Mortgage Investment Fund" and "Lornty Mortgage Income Fund II." The company then raised $2 million, $3 million and $10 million respectively, for the three Trusts. The Trusts were over 95% invested in mortgages. The Trusts' assets were in excess of $15 million and the investors received more than 12% return on their investment. In 1997 the Trust assets were sold at par.

Mr. Williams holds an undergraduate degree in Anthropology from the University of Illinois and a baccalaureate in French from the University of Paris. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois Law School and practiced law in Anchorage. He is a member of the Alaska Bar Association.
